Reviews
"I received the wrong order. What i ordered was not in my package. Wrong color and one was the wrong item no packaging slip. Sent a message and still have not heard anything back in wether I can return the wrong items and receive the correct product or just get my money back at this point. I will never suggest shopping here!!"

Best sort-of-foundation I’ve used
"I don’t like normal foundation or having to layer lots of products – this is the best thing I’ve found for natural looking coverage that looks like my own skin but better. It’s easy to apply and rarely requires a touchup with powder during the day. I use this over moisturizer, top with a little blush, and that’s all I need. This is my third or fourth time purchasing the blurring balm and it won’t be my last."

Perfect Base
"This is my second balm powder. I LOVE it. I wear it by itself and also plays nice under other foundations. It's a natural matte finish that looks like skin."
— Charlice P. (5/5)
"I can do my makeup in the morning and by noon. my t zone is very oily. This stuff helps eliminate that problem. I use it with a few drops of the serum first. A little bit goes a long way which makes me feel better about the expense. I don’t know why I waited so long to try it."

God sent miracle 💋
"No more oily frying pan after sunscreen. I just powder lightly after my 2 layers of sunscreen, then apply the universal blurring balm on my T-zone. I don't even have to touch up with powder every hour anymore. And that's just everyday wear, it held up my makeup during a very busy wedding season even while I was running around all over the place. Also a little goes a long way so I've barely made a dent in it even with everyday wear."

Flawless!
"Amazing- I have dry skin so prepping and hydrating is a must. A little goes a long way, it this is hands down a new fave of mine. I did also purchase the brush that goes well and it left a flawless finish. I was a professional makeup artist for many years and I haven’t seen a foundation perform like this. Thank you Danessa!"

I guess I’m joining the not receiving product section.
"PayPal changed my address at the end so it was going to the incorrect location. I emailed immediately to correct it. I got a response. I confirmed the address change. Then they shipped it to the wrong address anyway. I am pretty upset about it. Emails have been ignored. I have gone non contact with the person at the previous address. For me to get this product I have to compromise my safety. It’s not worth it. So I will never order from here again. I was looking forward to it but I guess I’ll try another black owned product."

Working through it
"The product is cool. I will say I still get greasy and the color is off, but all in all I am happy with it. I will try to get another color to see if that works too. Not in my price range, so it may be some time. However, I will always support a Black woman!!!"

Amazing!
"Best make up ever! I was using it wrong at first. Like way too much, but it always looked good even when I used it wrong. Perfect shade match and wears well with my combo skin. It's a perfect everyday wear. And I can build a foundation on top if I want a more makeup makeup look. And it keeps my texture and oil control 10/10."
— Hasana W. (5/5)
Please make a light cool shade!
"I tried this because shade 3 is the right depth but slightly yellow on me. This is the right undertone but just a tad too light haha. Would love an in-between - a light with cool undertones. Love this product as always!"

How can we shade match?
Email our customer service team with at least 3 to 5 shade names of foundations you normally use from other brands for us to better determine a shade match for you. If you would like to try our complexion products in person, we would highly recommend going on Sephora's website to see if they carry our makeup on display. We also offer free samples (Experience Cards) for purchases of 25 USD and more on our website. customerservice@danessamyricksbeauty.com
Does the translucent option cover blemishes and imperfections?
Since the Yummy Skin Blurring Balm Powder "Universal" doesn't have any pigment, it doesn't offer coverage. This product overall offers more of a sheer coverage. If you're interested in more coverage, we recommend trying the Yummy Skin Serum Foundation instead. Hope this helps you!
